Like all wizards he is wise and studious: his knowledge spans from astronomy to physics, from incantations to alchemy. But among all of these his favorite is culinary art, of which he is a big fan! Unfortunately all of these notions cause him to confuse spells from time to time therefore, his magic does not always work as planned, giving life to surreal situations that entertain the two dragons.
Although he adores both of his grandchildren, he has a soft spot for Tip: perhaps because he is still a cub or because he reminds him of himself at his age (note that wizards have a very long-term memory), he would do leap tall buildings for the little critter. Due to his age he has problems with his eyesight and he must sometimes wear big glasses that make him look funny.
He has a long and soft beard, a big nose and big hands which Tip adores especially when Alchemius scratches his tummy! He wears classic wizard’s clothes: a blue tunic reaching mid leg a large pointed hat and a heavy hooded cape. But his most distinguishing accessory, the most important is inevitable his faithful magic wand. His father, who carved it himself two centuries ago, from the roots of the ‘’Big tree’’, gave it to him. It has an incredible power: it can transform itself into any object that Alchemius desires!
